Encino Park Veterinary Clinic is proud to provide Companion Laser services to your pet. The Companion Laser is an FDA approved tool that is non-invasive and painless. There are no potentially dangerous side effects with the Companion Laser like you may experience from pain medications.
The Companion Laser is used during therapeutic laser therapy by providing energy in the form of light waves that affects the production of endorphins to relieve pain. No sedation or restraint is required during Companion Laser treatment to make the experience as pleasant as possible for your pet. The painless treatment increases circulation and draws water, oxygen and nutrients to the affected area to advance the healing process.Through Companion Laser injured cells within your pet are stimulated with the laser to heal at a faster rate. The treatment is often used post-surgical procedure to reduces pain, swelling, and inflammation of the animal.
